If you want to practice Yoga in english in Barcelona, you must com to Food&Yoga. We firmly believe yoga is a way of life, one with peace, freedom, self-respect and respect for others at its core. We offer different styles of yoga so you can choose the one that suits you most.
You can join our classes either if you’re completely new to yoga or you’ve been practicing for years since asanas (yoga postures) totally adapt to one-self. We encourage you to come and try one of our classes for free.
Hatha yoga is quite soft and slow so it’s perfect for beginners and a great way to start and/or end the day. Its main focus is to flow from one posture and movement to the other. As any other yoga style, Hatha seeks for the mind, body and soul union.
Vinyasa yoga is perfect to help us become aware of our body postures, our breath and its impact on the body (how our rib cage expands, our chest elevates and our ribs open when we inhale, and how we empty our lungs when we exhale and adjust our body).
Aerial Yoga allows you to perfectly and safely adjust Yoga poses to get the maximum benefit from the practice.
It provides us with balance and security and allows us to perform (among many other things) the inverted positions in an effective and controlled manner.
We will practice the inverted postures with this technique to decompress the cervical and lumbar vertebrae.
This practice allows you to listen to the body so that the practice is intuitive.
